Here is the extent of my April Fools trickery.
I texted my best friend Kristen telling her I had to get a part of my toe amputated.
She texted back saying, “What??”
The two question marks means she cares.
She called me right after. I told her I stubbed my toe and it had to be removed. But I was laughing.
She didn’t believe me.
She said her first thought was, “Oh no, she can never run again.”
Which I don’t think would be completely true.
